Welcome to my blog!
I started this website a few months back with the sole purpose of learning more about programming, computer science, video game dev, and miscellaneous engineering topics. Despite how passionate I am about these subjects, the constant research and hunt for ideas to churn out blog posts turned into a monotonous chore. After a while, the excitement curdled into dread; I lost the will to keep working on the project and slowly walked away.
That didn’t stop me from writing, though. Quite the contrary. After shifting my focus to my personal journal – free from the pressure of self-imposed content constraints – I noticed the quality of my ideas and my writing began to improve. And I knew finding my way back to lumænaut would just be a matter of time.
So here I am.
If you happen to arrive here while the blog section is still empty, know that I already have the first piece ready for publishing. I just need to iron out a couple of web design issues first. Otherwise, I hope you find joy in reading my essays, ideas and writings. There’s more coming soon.
Cheers,

Why lumænaut you ask?
lumænaut ( /ˈluːmɪnɔːt/ )
Etymology: From Latin
lumen ("light") + Greek nautes ("sailor, traveler").
Meaning: A traveler of light.
It's just a word I made up to describe how I feel trying to find my place in the vastness of the digital cosmos … and because I always wanted a cool-sounding username for videogames.
